I have been practicing Family Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution for over 30 years and am a certified Social worker and Mediator. I received my BA and Masters in Social Work degree from University of Texas in Austin, and a Law Degree from the University of Houston.

I have had a number of professional leadership positions with regional and nationally recognized organizations including; the Houston Bar Association, the Texas Association of Mediators as a Founding Board Member where I received the Susanne Adams Award for Service in Mediation in Texas, the Association for Conflict Resolution Board and the Association of Attorney Mediators Board among others.

I am also very involved with my community and am proud to have worked in a variety of capacities with many different community organizations in the Houston area including; on the board and as a Sunday school teacher for St. Luke’s Methodist church, as a board member for MECA-Multicultural Education Counseling for Arts, Krist Samaritan Counseling Center and the MDBA-Museum District Business Alliance.
